The idea was to create a sculpture that not only emits light but also casts a shadow. The light box was created by cutting out a single sheet of wood with the laser cutter and bending it into the final shape.
Three laser engraved plaques have been created to adorn the walls near the “feature wall” graphic art displays in Washington State University’s Spark building.
This piece, part of Creative Corridor’s ongoing Bryan Tower digitization project, will be used to create t-shirts through a process called “woodblock printing”.
Students, faculty and staff to pursue unconventional activities to create “Bench of Belonging” on the WSU Pullman campus.
