The process starts with digitizing the Cougar Head located inside Todd Hall, using the Creaform 3d GoScan 20. This handheld device allows the user to scan a real world object to create a 3D object. After correcting the 3D geometry in Autodesk 3ds Max 2019, the digital 3D model is then imported into the CNC Shopbot application, VCarve Pro.

We have the ability to cut the Cougar Head into different formats and materials. Examples shown in Work in Progress image.
